Gameloft, the king of the mobile game developer and publisher, have hit the round again by teasing a new mobile game (for iOS & Android) which seems to be using the popular game engine named 'Unreal Engine' with a picture of the game which seems to resemble the popular Sony Playstation flagship game called God of War. If it is indeed GOW, it is no surprised as Gameloft had made a GOW game before for the Java Platform.
Anyway it is a very revolutionary thing for the mobile game industry because the engine was used for the pc and the console games and hence when it comes to the lower section of the gaming industry, it is truely something which Gamers should look forward to. But is the current mobile GPU ready to take the load or will it be just for the newer high-end mobile? All Questions will be answered in a few days by Gameloft! Stay Tuned in 24x7 Gamestation for any updated news about Gameloft new venture.

First Look at ZOMBARGEDON!
Release on 30th May 2012, ZOMBARGEDON is actually a Android Arcade Game which I am enjoying after a long while! Developed by BOXITSOFT CASUAL, this Casual Zombie Game is actually a lot of fun to play. Just don't expect it to be something like Resident Evil.
1st you will wield a sword and you cut all the increasing no of zombies which will try to eat your brain out. The fun part in this game is the 'often' dropping of items like health, shotgun, pistol, Uzi and grenade. If you are overwhelmed by the zombies, you can drop a missile on your standing area and those zombies near you will be drop dead. After you are dead, you can compare the scores with your friends. I wish they would have given us a portal to compare the scores online. With the addition of co-op game play, this game will be perfect.
You can download the game for free from Android Market. The links are https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.boxitsoft.zombargedon&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5ib3hpdHNvZnQuem9tYmFyZ2Vkb24iXQ..

Rayman Origin PC Review!
Remember the time when we were kids and all the time we do is watch cartoon on TV. Yeah, it was fun. We learn so many things from cartoons. Personally I learn American English so well from there and no one can deny the fact that cartoon was not part of their childhood days especially if you are born in the 90's. Well here comes a game which will make you remember your childhood days cartoon and wish those days would come back again.
Introducing Rayman Origins developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, a 2D platforming game which will surely hook you up for days. This game will surely make you smile, I guaranteed!
STORY: There is no real story as such. At the intro, you and your buddies will be sleeping and snoring so loud that will disturb an old lady so much that she will send her minions to take care of the snoring problems and that's when you strike back. An old man version of creature is started to blow bubbles (That's the problem and don't ask me how that's a problem cause I don't know) and Rayman and his buddies must go free some goddess and get many of this ball like creature called 'Electoos' to take care of the problem. Frankly telling, there is nothing to the story and it is forgivable as it is a 'casual-look-like' game.
GRAPHICS: The graphics looks stunning as far as I can say. The cartoonic graphics which the developers had put in is really in tune with what the game represent in a splendid way. The game is not a serious game so the character are not in a 'real world' ideal shape & size body and how the character show off their moves represent it. The texture and the lightning are perfect. Conclusion: Rayman Origin is a gorgeous game. (10/10)
GAMEPLAY: As far as this game is concerned, the developers had put in their heart and sweat in it which is shown in the level design. Every level challenge you in a meaningful way, not meaningless like some game I have seen. When you enter an area, the game put u in a place which you think is a peaceful place and then suddenly you are wrong. This game temper with human psychology which is very impressive on its part.
This game has that one thing which make a game successful, Variety. The environment are diversed from underwater to desert to forest and the each type of environment will challenge you differently. With respect to the environment also, the core gameplay also is different at different time. Sometime you will be flying and shooting like an old school 2D flying shooter and next time you will be diving underwater but most of the time, you are on the ground jumping from platform to platform and hope the next platform doesn't hit you on the face. Sometimes the level put you in a fast pace that you feel like you are playing 'Sonic the hedge' Game.
There are also many hidden treasure which you should keep your eyes and hope you doesn't let it go cause in the future, you will need the treasure. You can change the character you are playing but they do more or the same thing (attack, jump, etc). The enemies are very easy to kill but the number of them swamping at you can be a problem. (10/10)
SOUND: You will feel good hearing the sound and music in this game as it got that cute 'feel good' music. Just like I said, the sound also feels like the sound from our childhood cartoon memories. Even 'Tabla' Indian Music are present and you will enjoy every bit of them. For what the game represent, the sound department had done an excellent job.(10/10)
OTHER: The annoying thing about this game is that the game require to get all the little cute wasp which in many case, you don't have a choice but to leave them but the game won't progress at the ending part cause you didn't collect enough of them. How much you tried to get them all, you never will be able to even if you played the same level over and over again. The console version have a co-op feature which is missing in the pc version.
VALUE FOR MONEY: This is worth your money cause there are lots and lots of content and took around 72 hours to complete. For as many as 'Electoos' you collect, you will unlock a new skin of your character. And the mission are so many that I have to stop collecting the wasp to write this review fast. (9/10)
OVERALL: At first, the gameplay will make you think this is a casual game but as you play, it will be more hardcore than you think. With all round excellent from every point, this game deserve your hard earned money.
SCORE:9.5/10

Mass Effect 3 Review
The Game which people had been saving their hard earned money and had been on people mind since the game was shown on E3 2011 at Los Angeles, is finally here after a heavy promotion by EA. The Promotion was soo big that the publisher actually put the game disc in space (yeah! you heard it right! In Actual Space). But Forget all about these or that, Commander Shepard is back one last time to kick Reaper's Ass and gave a sheer conclusion to the epic story.
I am happy to announced that MASS EFFECT 3 live up to its hype and bring a real bang for your bucks. Everyone, whether you are Mass Effect fan or not, should check out this incredible game. I have to say that it finally is in par with my personal Favourite best Storyline game, Halo: Combat Evolved release in 2001. A Big head ups to BIOWARE (the developer) for its storyline.
STORY: The Story revolved around a human named Commander Shepard and he have to go around the Galaxy gathering aliens around the galaxy to fight collectively to save Earth from the Reaper, a group of aliens who was thought to be extinct in the year 2061. They have more advanced weapons and technology than any types of aliens including the humans. The plot may have look like a typical space story but if you play the game, it is unique in many ways. Thought I was not really happy with the way the story ends and can't understand properly what the game was trying to indicate, the storyline which lead up to that time is an epic adventure of its own. (9.5/10)
GRAPHICS: It has been scaled up from Mass Effect 2. The texture look crispier, the explosion/ gunfight looks real enough and it damn look gorgeous. There was a time when you look at the mass scale of the reaper attacking the earth and damn, it doesn't get better than this. Character modelling is an eye-candy from the krogan (Aliens) to the Space Ships to the interior of a room. It signify Heaven. (10/10)
GAMEPLAY: This is an important component of the game. The Game is an RPG cover-based shooter and BIOWARE had blent it in both in a nice fashion. You can carry 5 weapons at a time and the variety and quantity is sufficent and plenty. Moreover unlike the previous franchise, you can customize your weapon with add-on weapon accessories just like in Battlefield 3 multiplayer. In combat, you can use your biotic powers and your other abilities. They don't inflict serious damage but they do help a lot in distracting enemies. As you progress, the lotsa Powerful enemies pop-up and your abilities power help a lot in those kinda situation. Your team mates help a lot in combat. Thought they are not that badass as you, they will save your ass many times. As you got coins, you can buy variety of weapons and armors. No, you cannot buy Batman Armour. Another addition to the game is the use of the shiny techno sword. Believe me, this sword can save your sorry butt when you ran out of ammo. And your choices will lead to either boon or a curse to your teammates. Choose Well! Overall, Gameplay is blent well. (10/10)
MULTIPLAYER: It is a Co-op style multiplayer and it is just like hoard mode in Gears of War. You and 3 of your friends take on Wave and Wave of Enemies with increasing difficulty. You and your friends can take diffrent types of players like asari, human etc and types of abilities like engineer, soldier etc. At first, it was fun and it become increasing boring. Most of the time, me and my friends survived till wave 8. But this multiplayer brings a bang for your bucks.(8/10)
SOUND: The Background score play with your emotion a lot. (No, I did not Cry! The Handkerchief was wet cause it feel into the bucket.) And the death of team-mates doesn't help either. You will have such an attachment to your team mates and the music behind helps a lot. But it doesn't help so much in the battlefield like Halo did. Overall, Sound was good. (9/10)
(Here is a Taste of the soundtrack of Mass Effect 3)
OTHER: One Annoying feature of this game is when you are doing some side-mission other than finding people, it is hell of difficult to find the thing they want without giving indication of where the item lie. I want BIOWARE to correct this through a patch.
OVERALL: This Game can be easily be the GAME OF THE YEAR 2012. But some small probs prevent it from becoming a MASTERPIECE just like Elder Scroll: Skyrim.
TOTAL RATING:-(9.5/10)

Tali: Why is Shepard so badass? Thane: That's what the game made him. If in real life, he will be just a brainless doughbag. |
